Search for ways to shift the blame
Music often (usually?) helps me deal with strong emotions. Today I mostly am pissed off at everything going on in politics, but Metal isn't helping; relaxing music isn't helping. I don't know if this song is appropriate or not. I have to get back to work on some real stuff in my life.
As far as blame for what is happening in Afghanistan. The Left is blaming Trump. "He wanted to get out in May." The Right is blaming Biden. "He can't hide at Camp David forever." But I blame the miltary - specifically the generals. Their policy produced exactly NO effect in 20 years. But then it was never designed to accomplish anything. It looks like Forever War was always the plan.

And all the military leaders who flat out lied to Trump and actively went against his orders. Yep, forever war as a way to fill their checkboxes in the promotion cycle.
