Because there was no excuse for a riot, of course! From The Other McCain we get Thank You, Officer Curtis Brown!
And it was a black cop who shot the white guy, who clearly needed to be shot. That doesn't advance The Narrative™ in any way.
But the police response, and the ANTFA response, was telling.
The usual riot squad of radical Antifa trash showed up to protest — because “Black Lives Matter,” right? — only to learn that the dead man, Michael Ray Townsend, was white and that the cop who shot him was black. Oh, but wait! It gets even better!

As for ANTIFA... As Steve Inman would say, well, maybe... They just went home for some Hot Pockets and Stove-top Stuffing.
