Proving that Nevada is NOT New Jersey. Two days, two intruders shot in Douglas County homes.
For the second day in a row, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) has responded to a call of a person entering a home uninvited and being shot by a homeowner.
One home-invader was killed, the other was shot and then detained by the homeowner until police arrived. Both cases are under investigation.
Self-defense is a human-right.
Douglas County is a fairly rural and VERY conservative county. It consists of two distinct
ReplyDeleteregions.....the majority of it is in the Carson Valley and south from their along Hwy 395. The rest....the smaller part is along the east shore of Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe part is home
to a LOT of very wealthy refugees from Kalifornia....and is much more liberal than the rest of the county. But most of the people live in the valley...and are much more conservative. Thus the county government is fairly conservative. In January 2019 we had two murders committed by an illegal alien...who also killed a retired couple in Reno the same week. Since then EVERYBODY has been more on edge about crime. I'm just sorry contestant number two wasn't sent off to meet his maker. Now he will cost the taxpayers a buttload of cash for his incarceration....but he WILL be incarcerated.
