Someone Buy CBS Atlanta a Dictionary

They seem unclear on the English language. Deadly Atlanta shooting could be a homicide or a case of self-defense

Atlanta police are working to determine if an overnight shooting is a case of self-defense or a homicide.

Specifically they are unclear on the difference between homicide and murder. All murders are homicides, but some homicides are cases of justifiable self-defense.

Journalists call themselves professionals, but don't seem to need to get even the simple stuff right.

Do they ever get anything right?

  1. Journalists get a lot of things right, Democrat operatives with press passes do not.

    1. This doesn't look like bias to me, though I could be convinced they are biased.

This looks like ignorance of the language. One of the things "professional journalists" should get right, even if the screw up everything else. But they can't even get this right.

  2. Oh, they figured out their error and edited the story. I doubt they read this blog. Maybe someone who works there knows how to spell.

Well no, since there is still an error in the headline.
