At work, or not as the case may be. But in this case, the state isn't having any of it. Failed St. Louis Prosecutor and Crackpot Kim Gardner Faces Misconduct Probe for Illicit Conduct During Greitens' Case -- May Lose Her Law License
Last year St. Louis City saw its highest homicide rate in 50 years.
But after little to no action by Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, state officials passed legislation to allow the state attorney general to take over homicide cases in St. Louis after 90 days if Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner hasn’t filed charges or upon request from the “chief law enforcement officer.”
There was another case where she refused to prosecute a drug dealer found with 1000 Opiate pills and a bunch of cash.
Now she faces an ethics investigation where she is accused of lying under oath.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney may lose her law license for lying under oath in the Greitens’ case.
It sounds good, but I doubt much will come of it. It seems a fairly technical violation of the rules, though you would think a Prosecutor would adhere to the rules.
