There was a history of domestic violence.
Officials said a homeowner called 911 to report that her ex-boyfriend was breaking-in. When the detectives arrived, officials said they discovered that the homeowner had shot the ex-boyfriend trying to force his way back into the house.

Tulsa County Deputies say they plan to arrest a man who was shot Tuesday night as soon as he gets out of the hospital.
I hope he learned his lesson, but the way most stalkers operate, I am not convinced that he will adopt a peaceful attitude in the future.
And no one plans to arrest the woman because "she fired in self-defense."
