Things got really bad in California, AFTER they instituted their most stupid lockdown criteria.
So they shut everything, and destroyed their economy. Did it help? It doesn't seem to have made a difference. California has some of the worst statistics in the country.
“They’re isn’t much that can be done to stop the spread of a highly communicable, airborne, respiratory virus.”
Oh you may slow things down a little, maybe, but in the end the virus is gonna do what viruses do, which is infect as many people as possible until herd immunity kicks in, either naturally or in combination with a vaccine.
Really the only question is do you want to get there with a functioning economy or not. Well, and they are destroying the fabric of society along with the economy.
