Man Shot Woman Who Was Threatening Him

Misleading headlines? The media would never do that. Police: Man shot woman who was hitting car with golf club

Yes, she was beating on the car with a golf club, but he retreated to his apartment, because he thought she had another weapon, and she followed him.

“The woman followed the man into the building, still armed with the golf club,” police said. “The man said the woman was beating on his door and he thought he heard a gunshot. The man said he shot through the door, striking the suspect.”

The woman was taken to a local hospital and with be charged when she's released. The man was interviewed and released.

It doesn't say, but this sounds an awful like like a domestic situation. Ex-girlfriend perhaps? Or just a crazy neighbor, you can't tell.

But it would seem that self-defense is still a human-right.
