Riots in 3, 2, ...

That's what the narrative says. Rapper Killed by ‘Systemic Racism’ and Semiautomatic Pistol Fire, But Mainly …

Here’s a question: Why was Chicago native Dayvon Bennett, a/k/a “King Von” in Atlanta? Because in addition to being a “well-known rapper,” he was a gangster, and between the police and rival gangsters gunning for him, his hometown was too dangerous for him. But of course, this young victim of “systemic racism” was not to blame for the criminal violence that surrounded him his entire life, up until he got shot to death

The Left is trying to blame the cops. Hey, it's been a while since there were riots. Or maybe I just stopped paying attention to the insanity.

In a statement provided to NPR, APD says that "King Von was shot and killed during this morning's shooting and we are seeing rumors being spread indicating he was shot and killed by APD officers. At this time, our investigators believe Mr. Bennett was shot during the initial shootout between the two groups of males, prior to police responding and attempting to stop the shooting. Additionally, Mr. Bennett was not located at the scene, but arrived at a hospital shortly after the shooting, via private vehicle. The investigation into this incident remains open and very active."

That is from the NPR story in the quote from Robert Stacy McCain above.

Take a look at the HeyJackass! numbers for Chicago for 2020. As I write this there have been more than 3000 people shot in the City of Chicago so far this year, and more than 680 homocides. Oh, and of all the people killed in Chicago this year, 6 were killed by the police. For those of you who are Math-challenged, that is less than ONE PERCENT of the total. 10 were killed by citizens in what has been determined to be cases of justified self-defense.

So whether or not the death of King Von is a tragedy, it might be that it was inevitable.

  1. And yes, I know, everyone's death is inevitable.
