By comparison, not so much, but it is all what you are used to. Why Las Vegas has experienced a surge in homicides
There have been 81 murders in Metro Police’s jurisdiction in 2020 to represent a 12.5% increase in comparison to the same time last year.
Assaults with a gun are up about 13 percent.
This mirrors what is going on in all the large cities. Though according to the current stats at HeyJackass! Chicago has experienced about a 45 percent increase in murders so far this year. St. Louis has seen about a 25 percent increase in homicides. Both are much worse than 12 percent.
