F*c*book Is Spying on Indians

Do you think they are spying on everyone? Facebook has 3 hidden apps in most Android phones sold in India but should you worry?

You should worry about everythign F*c*book does.

Most Android phones in India come with the Facebook app pre-installed on them. While some brands allow users to delete this bloatware, others only permit the Facebook app to be disabled. But a new trend is being observed in Android phones selling this year. Along with the main Facebook app, there are three additional Facebook apps that are hidden along with other Android system apps inside the Settings menu.

Because F*c*book by itself isn't invasive enough.

  1. F*c*book is trying to join Google. "Goo-Twit-Face".

The well-known story is Google developed Android so they could track you when you weren't on your computer or laptop. They saw the rise in phone and tablet sales as that tracking data going away. It seems Facebook is trying to get in on the Android data pipeline.

  2. F*c*book is in most apps. iOS and Android. If you can share data or log in using F*c*book, then what is going on is the app developer used the FB framework as a base.

It transmits a huge amount of data to FB, even more if you are not a FB user. (They need more to be sure you are accurately identified.)

The only apps I use on my phone regularly are music related. Well and email. Everything else I do via web, which still allows for some tracking, but much less.
