A Tale of Two Cities - OR - More Media Bias?

So there was a shooting Friday at a Wisconsin Mall: Wauwatosa mall shooting.

This has received national attention. CNN, Washington Post, and media outlets as far away as Tampa, Florida and the United Kingdom have stories. About a "mass shooting" in a predominantly white suburb of Milwaukee.

Early Saturday morning there was a mass-shooting in Chicago that has gotten almost no coverage, even in Chicago. Auburn Gresham shooting leaves 6 hurt after shots fired into group of people, Chicago police say. Of the 77 neighborhoods in the City of Chicago, Auburn-Gresham is the 6th most dangerous neighborhood. (Reference HeyJackass!)

Now I suppose the fact that the Chicago shooting happened at 2 AM, or so, that it could be all those national media outlets, and international outlets, have just not gotten around to reporting on the situation in Chicago. Any bets on whether they do?

Or is the story that mass shootings are not news in Chicago. HeyJackass! tracks multiple shootings in Chicago with 2020 Multi-victim Shootings. There have been 7 incidents in Chicago that resulted in 6 people shot. There have been 13 incidents with 5 victims and 27 incidents with 4 victims.
