Journalist Hates Self-Defense and Sheriff Judd

Miguel Gonzalez brings us a story of an idiot journalist. (Did I repeat myself?) You have the right to remain silent and avoid being tagged as stupid.

Journo tries to shame Sheriff Grady but only manages to display ignorance.

Grady Judd is sheriff of Polk County, Florida. Polk County is roughly halfway between Tampa and Orlando. He is probably my favorite sheriff. He is certainly one of the most quotable sheriffs of all time.

Click thru for a 1 minute video of a journalist, who appears to hate self-defense, trying to get Grady Judd, of all people, to feel sorry for a violent criminal who got shot. Miguel G. includes copies of the relevant Florida statutes on carjacking and self-defense.

You figure by now a Florida journalist would have used Google and check the law before opening his trap and announce to the world he is an idiot that hates the Sheriff.

It is worth your time. (My advice for the journo can be summed up like this.)

Shooting News Weekly also had a story that touched on this interview with Sheriff Judd. Another Florida Sheriff’s Simple Message For Violent Criminals: ‘You’re Subject to Get Shot and Shot a Lot’

Florida’s working on becoming the FAFO state, at least when it comes to violent criminals victimizing the law-abiding. First it was Manatee County Sheriff Rick Wells publicly stating that home invaders should expect to be shot in his county. The next day, a video of Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd sparring with a soft-on-crime activist posing as a reporter went viral.

In the video, Judd explains to an apparently slow-witted jernalizmist that when you carjack someone with the threat of force, “you’re subject to get shot and shot a lot.”
