From Miguel Gonzalez we get some insight into the state of the police state. Tell me again we have the best Justice System in the world.
When there are 2 sets of rules, you can be sure that you live in a police state. And there ARE 2 sets of rules.
First we get the story of Bryan Malinowski. A non-violent man who was selling guns at gun shows. A SWAT team showed up at his home and shot him in the head. Could they have arrested him during the day, calmly and peacefully? Of course, but where is the fun in that.
Then there are cops who sell guns illegally, and as Miguel Gonzalez points out, these are full-on machine guns. Police illegally sell restricted weapons, supplying crime.
And what does the ATF say about these cops who break the law in the worst way?
"We're not looking to prosecute fellow law enforcement officers," said Eric Harden, former special agent in charge of the ATF's Los Angeles field division.
No! We don't want to arrest cops! That would be a violation of the Code of the Brothers in Blue. Or whatever.
Back to Miguel Gonzalez and his take on this travesty of justice.
What the In-The-Eff do you mean you are not looking to prosecute fellow LEOs? The article did mention that some cops were actually prosecuted and are serving some time in prison for shit that would have earned any civilian a shower of bullets in an early morning raid.
Click thru for some examples of cops getting slapped on the wrist for selling machine guns illegally.
None of the anti-gun groups are screaming about this. As Mr Gonzalez points out, you probably haven't read or heard about this story. I know I hadn't. Gun Control advocates don't care that there are 2 sets of rules. They ADVOCATE for 2 sets of rules.
