People You Know, Threats and Self-Defense

The Left loves to go on at length about how if you own a gun, you are more likely to shoot someone you know, than a complete stranger. There are reasons for that. POLICE: Suspect shot, injured after breaking into family home | CBS19

And also, people in Texas are armed. You might say that they are heavily armed.

A 38-year-old man was hospitalized after police say he was shot while forcing his way into a family member's home Friday night.

Longview, Texas is about 60 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana, and about 110 miles east of Dallas.

It started earlier in the day, as a fight between family members. He wanted to have the last word, but I'm guessing this isn't how he planned for things to turn out.

He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and charges are currently pending.

So yes, you are more likely to need to defend yourself from someone you know, or even a family member. The category of people that can be described as "someone you know" is quite large. A disgruntled ex-employee, the creepy guy from your favorite coffee shop, and ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend turned stalker, etc. The statistic that the Left loves to throw around isn't the win they think it is.

  1. If you have an Axe you may chop someone. If you don't, you can't.
Stupid logic, works the same. That and you will likely freeze in
the winter if you need an axe to cut wood for a fire.

Of course if you have a gun shooting someone becomes possible
(however unlikely). Statistically and mathematically its a fact,
1 is greater than zero. So they are saying, ban guns, make it
impossible. Then we move to knives, axes, cars,....

Hint do not repeat their noise, do laugh at them.

    Eck!
