This is the 2nd time in 2 days I have featured a self-defense story from the greater Los Angeles area. Glendale police investigate fatal shooting of attempted robbery suspect
While Glendale police aren’t able to say who the man is, they say their investigation revealed the man was armed and was attempting to rob two people sitting in an SUV when the driver shot and killed him.
“It’s a bit of a bizarre situation. you typically don't see that happening,” Sgt. Vahe Abramyan, spokesperson for the Glendale Police Department, said.
The person defending himself didn't stick around to talk to police, so there may be some issues of legality about the gun, or maybe they didn't believe that self-defense is a legal right in Los Angeles county. No one can say at this point in time.
Still, self-defense is a human right.
