Put Your Data in the Cloud, They Said

It would be safe, they said. What Snowflake isn't saying about its customer data breaches | TechCrunch

No one cares about your stuff as much as you do.

Another Snowflake customer, LendingTree, confirms a data breach. Snowflake says its position “remains unchanged.”

The details haven't changed much, and Snowflake is still saying, "It's not my fault!"

Snowflake’s security problems following a recent spate of customer data thefts are, for want of a better word, snowballing.

What Snowflake is saying is that this is entirely the fault of its customers.

For being silly enough to trust their data with Snowflake.

Cloud companies routinely include statements to the fact that they will make a "best effort" to secure your data. I don't know what Snowflake said in its contracts, before all of this came about, but their current position seems to be, "Sorry 'bout your luck."
