This is hardly surprising, though I would have bet on Philadelphia. Democrat-Run St. Louis Ranked Most Dangerous City in America
According to WalletHub, “Our data set ranges from traffic fatalities per capita and assaults per capita to the unemployment rate and the percentage of the population that is insured.”
Each place was graded regarding home and community safety, natural disaster risk, and financial safety, with the safest place in the United States being Nashua, New Hampshire.
Meanwhile, St. Louis, Missouri, was ranked the most dangerous city. It was known as the murder capital until 2022 when New Orleans, Louisiana, was found to have the highest murder rate, the Mail article said.
Embedded in that article is a 30 second video from a press conference by the mayor of St. Louis which is interrupted by gunfire. The mayor, Tishaura Jones, doesn't even flinch, and makes a statement about how the sound of gunfire is just part of her life now. Wonderful.
The last Republican to be mayor of St. Louis, Aloys P. Kaufmann, left office April 19, 1949. Despite that, I am sure that somehow the implosion of the Blue Cities is the fault of Trump. Or Bush. Or the Republicans in general.
Civilization is built on security. That cornerstone has been removed from our Blue Cities. I'll miss it when it is gone. (Hat tip to Gates of Vienna.)
Yeah, you know your policies are good when the people get used to gunfire.
