There is very little info given on the love triangle. Is it an ex-boyfriend and the new boy-friend? Ex-husband? We are not told.

One guy went to confront the other guy. He stopped to set up his phone on a tripod so he could have video of the whole thing. Oh, and he put his kids in the car so they wouldn't be witness.

Then, when the man came out of the apartment, the man outside attacked him with a pair of brass knuckles, hitting him repeatedly on the head, Capri said.

The man being attacked tried to run away, but the accused attacker followed and chased him around the complex, the sheriff said.

When he thought the attacker was going to upgrade from brass knuckles to a gun, he drew his own weapon and fired. Then he called 911.

Capri said he does not believe charges will be filed against the shooter, who was carrying his firearm legally and who police believe was acting in self-defense.

Police have not been able to view the video recorded by the man who died, but said other evidence collected at the complex supported the man who died was the instigator of the fight.

So what was this guy going to do with video of him beating up his rival? Post it to TikTok or Instagram? Things didn't turn out the way he expected.

Self-defense is a human-right. And Florida has not morphed into New Jersey.
