So I was rewatching John Wick this past weekend getting ready for the upcoming release of the 4th chapter in that series. John Wick 4 will be released a week from Friday, on the 24th of March. Given the reviews, from people I trust, I may break my "no sequels" rule and actually see this in the theater. The original is an action movie classic. 2 and 3 got bogged down in "creating the lore." 4 is supposed to be a top-notch action movie, without all of the BS that film makers think is needed.
Since I've seen the original John Wick movie any number of times, I was free to pay attention to some of the details that I sometimes miss in the first go around. Like the soundtrack. When JW is in full-on kill-mode, and I am paying attention to the reloads, and the action, I only notice that the soundtrack is good. This song is wonderful in its own right, and used to perfection in the scene in which Iosef Tarasov is in the hot tub, and has to escape through the nightclub.
This is "Think" by KALEIDA. It was used in one of the fight scenes in the original John Wick movie.
This is the scene from *John Wick*. The first half (or so) uses the song "Think."
