What does the gun-hating part of the Left say she should do when faced with multiple attackers? Billings woman shoots two men during attack outside residence
"The report indicates the suspects attacked the victim at her car outside of her residence," Lennick said in the statement. "The victim pulled her concealed firearm and both suspects were shot."
One of the men who was shot remained at the scene and the other fled the area but arrived later at a local hospital, Lennick said. Neither of the men were armed.
That last "fact" is only a reflection of the reporters bias. It means nothing.
The police seem to have their heads on straight.
"As far as the victim using a firearm for self-defense the law is pretty clear on people’s right to use self-defense when they can articulate a threat to themselves or others," police Lt. Matt Lennick said in a statement about the incident.
Cops don't make determinations about charges; that will be up to the district attorney.
What does the gun-hating Left think this woman should have done. The reporter makes note of the fact that the bad guys were not armed. I don't know how they can say that since one of the bad guys was out of sight between the time he got shot, and when he showed up at the hospital. But even if we grant the fact that he wasn't armed, what does that mean? Do the reporters in America think that a woman can't be overpowered by 2 men? What if it was 3 or 4 men?
Did the victim in this case have any way of knowing that they bad guys were not armed?
Without the means of self-defense, anyone can be overpowered by enough other people. The old and the infirm will be at the mercy of the young and the violent. Though that is probably the world we are living in.
Self-defense is a human-right, and Montana hasn't turned into California. (Hat tip to Keep and Bear Arms.)
