So I haven't avoided the Hogwarts Legacy situation exactly, though I haven't posted anything about it. But since the game will officially release on the 7th, and the initial reviews of the game are stellar - in spite of the Woke backlash - I thought it was time to post something.
In case you are not in touch with the gaming side of popular culture, you may not know that a new game, Hogwarts Legacy, has been in development for the past several years. The Woke Scolds were out of their minds over the fact that J.K. Rowling, despite being 99.99997% woke herself, disagreed with the mob on one point, and so J.K. Rowling must be canceled, but since Ms. Rowling has "F- You" levels of money, she didn't bow down to the mob. So they turned their hatred on the game, the game developers, and anyone who DARED to cross the line and buy it or play it.
Despite that, and at least in some cases because of that, it was basically the #1 selling game on every platform on which you could buy it. Steam. PC. PlayStation. Xbox. Probably others I don't know about.
Now that the reviews are coming out - because access journalism gets access ahead of time - there is more wailing and gnashing of teeth. Why? Because it's good.
But since I haven't really played video/computer games in a couple of decades, I thought I would just leave it to Melonie Mac to describe the situation.
Melonie Mac was a game reviewer for large entity, but because she is a Christian, that entity decided that she was a hater and fired her. She may actually have been only a contractor, but that isn't the point. She lost her job because of her religious views. Now she is an independent review of games, and media, and all around commenter on the Woke Insanity that is trying to destroy Western Culture.
This is where it's at with the Woke Cult; they want to control every facet of your life.
