Santa Rosa County is on the Gulf coast of Florida, just east of Pensacola. It is included in the Pensacola Metropolitan Area for statistical purposes.
The guy who got shot showed up to "cause a disturbance with the homeowner." He has previously been trespassed at the residence.
When the subject tried to enter the home, the homeowner shot him through the front door, authorities said.
Cops showed up and he was taken to a local hospital. When the medics are done with him, he will be arrested.
Self-defense is a human-right, and this didn't happen in New Jersey.
