Is Anyone Shocked that Big Tech is Riddled with Censorship?

At this point I'm looking for a main alternative to Twitter, though a lot of people I like are there... BREAKING: Elon Musk reveals ‘secret’ Twitter labels causing shadowbans on conservatives

On Thursday, conservative commentator Dave Rubin reported he had spent the last two weeks at Twitter's San Francisco headquarters talking to engineers, product managers, and Elon Musk and learned that the team still "have more questions than answers" including around a batch of "secret" labels used to shadowban conservatives beyond the revelations from the Twitter Files.

After making a good-show of honoring free speech, Twitter under Elon is once again banning conservatives because liberals have their panties in a twist. And the shadow banning continues. (I have been finding it difficult to locate people on Twitter I follow by searching for them.)

Suggestions in the comments would be welcome.

On December 8, Bari Weiss tweeted round 2 of the Twitter files which confirmed that leadership at the social media platform built blacklists and participated in shadowbanning for years under the watch of Vijaya Gadde, former Twitter lead counsel and former head of Twitter Trust and Safety Yoel Roth.

Examples of shadowbanning under former Twitter management included Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk being tagged with a "Do Not Amplify" tag. Talk show host Dan Bongino was tagged with a "Search Blacklist" tag which had a similar suppressive consequence.

And if you think this is only limited to Twitter, you really are not paying attention.

It's a mess. Built by people who HATE free speech. (You will only say approved things; you will only think approved thoughts.) What happened to this country that we want to become the old Soviet Union.
