Home invaders are still getting shot. Freeport homeowner kills suspected burglar | thefacts
Just after 11 p.m., the department received an emergency call from a woman who said multiple people had broken into her home on the 1500 block of West Seventh Street.
Three people ran from the home, two of whom remain at large. The homeowner [a 28-year-old Freeport man,] went to St. Luke’s Health Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, where he was last known to be in stable condition.
Cops found a guy across the street from the home who had been shot in the abdomen. He was declared dead at a trauma center.
Not many details have been released as I type this, but two things are clear. Texas is a bad place to break into occupied homes, and the bad guys have not gotten that memo.
Self-defense is a human-right.
