Modern-day America or a third-world city? It can be hard to tell. Portland, the "Progressive Beacon," an example of how things are going to be so great, once the Progressive policies are in place. What could possibly go wrong?
Portland was absolutely insane.
What follows is 10 minutes of the state of Portland including a discussion with one police officer discussing hard-drug usage in the city. (Drugs are "decriminalized," which means there is a lot of drug use.) There is some discussion of what can be done to stem the tide of this insanity, and maybe turn some of it back.
Letting people OD in the streets is NOT being compassionate. It is the opposite of compassion. I'm not sure why Progressives cannot see that.

Portland use to be a jewel of a city. Now thanks to Democrat governance it's turned in to a shithole. Thank you Ted Wheeler!
