I usually charcterize the FBI as "Funded, But Incompetent." But in this case they are just criminal. Your tax dollars at work. Republicans drop 1,000 page report saying FBI is 'rotted at its core' and downplayed Hunter Biden | Daily Mail Online
You can file this under "Cops Behaving Badly - Federal Edition."
Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee released a 1,000-page report on Friday alleging widespread politicization and misconduct in the FBI.
The damning file said the bureau is 'rotted at its core,' manipulated domestic violent extremism statistics for political purposes and downplayed investigations and 'serious allegations of wrongdoing' leveled at Hunter Biden.
People who think this is a new condition have never heard of COINTELPRO.
'The Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the stewardship of Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, is broken,' the GOP report states. 'The problem lies not with the majority of front-line agents who serve our country, but with the FBI's politicized bureaucracy.'
Anyway, click thru. It is sad that some of the best reporting on America comes out of the UK.
Putting the "Criminal" in Criminal Justice System at least since J. Edgar was running the show.
And I compare them to the Stazi, or the Ministerium für Staatsicherheit (Ministry for State Security) in the old East Germany, because they were the "law enforcement" branch of the Communist Party, and the FBI has morphed into the law enforcement (or secret police) branch of the Democrats.
Yeah, I've noticed how much real reporting on the things screwed up here are coming to us via Daily Mail. And some of them are Only in the Mail. I've Been avoiding it. But I'll have a look.
ReplyDeleteA few years back I relied on the London Telegraph for the bulk of my news about all things going on in Washington DC. But the Telegraph has largely disappeared behind a paywall in the past few years, and I can't justify that for two or three articles a week. (I'm not that interested in what is going on in the UK.)
DeleteThough I am tempted to give it try again, because they also did a much better job of reporting on what was happening in Europe generally.
