From The Other McCain: Crazy People Are Dangerous: No Motive Yet in Colorado Springs Shooting UPDATE: Shooter Is ‘Non-Binary’?
Because nearly everyone in the media, on the Left side of social media, and the usual suspects did jump to conclusions.
Meanwhile, people are angry at Tucker Carlson for pointing out that we don’t yet know what the gunman’s motive was. It is easy to guess that some kind of anti-gay bias may be involved — he shot up a gay bar, OK? — but speculation is not proof.
Then there was the 4-hour standoff with police in June, for which no charges were filed. There was also no explanation for why he was not charged.
And now it comes to light that he is non-binary and uses they use they/them pronouns. So, probably not a Trump supporter IYKWIMAITYD. I don't expect social media to let go of this, but I do expect the media to drop it like a hot potato; it doesn't fit anyone's narrative.
