You can never be sure. Fatal shooting was self-defense under state’s ‘castle doctrine,’ Lehigh County DA rules
Edwin Diaz-Rivera, 37, of Allentown, was shot in the body the night of July 9 in the 700 block of North 11th Street in the city, and later pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township, the Lehigh County coroner previously said.
Diaz-Rivera’s death was ruled a homicide. On Wednesday, District Attorney Jim Martin said he found the killing was justified self-defense under the state’s “castle doctrine.”
There are details of the crime, and a statement on PA law if you click thru.
The "professional reporter" seems disturbed that the DA will no release the name of the person who committed no crime in the act of defending themselves and others. How can they hate on gun-owners if you won't identify the gun-owners?
Self-defense is a human-right, and it also might be your legal right in Pennsylvania.
