They can make you forget that you're in Texas, and not New Jersey. Houston store clerk fatally shot man who assaulted him, police say
According to police, the man had walked into the convenience store appearing to be intoxicated on an unknown substance, and he assaulted the 23-year-old clerk behind the cash register.
The clerk was able to retrieve a firearm, and shoot his attacker.
The guy who got shot was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The case will be referred to a grand jury. It is my understanding that all homicides in Texas are referred to grand juries, but I'm not a lawyer.
Texans are armed. Heavily armed. F-ing around and finding out is not recommended.
Self-defense is a human-right, and this took place in Texas.
