Why does the left hate the very idea of having safer schools? The hate enhanced security, because they do not want their children to see police (it is RAAAAACIST), they do not want more secure entrances because that makes schools into “prisons” apparently. AND armed security? Oh of course not because GUNS BAD! Consider this screed from The Root, America’s most racist publication
They want vulnerable students. They want excuses to scream about gun control. They don't want you to pay attention to the fact that police have no duty to protect you, and when the shit hits the fan they probably will NOT protect you.
If you start thinking that you need to depend on yourself, where does that leave the Left?

An armed teacher stopped an abduction, and held the bad guy at gunpoint until cops arrive. The Left doesn't want stuff like this to happen, because guns are bad. Or something.
“A teacher intervened when there was a situation that threatened students’ safety,” Jer Bates of the Ogden School District told KTVX. “This teacher, this school employee, is a hero.”
Lt. Brian Eynon of the Ogden City Police Department also praised the teacher, who has a concealed carry permit, for taking it “upon himself to protect and be a hero, frankly, for the children,” according to the station. The teacher who intervened has not been publicly identified.

Two other reasons the left will fight tooth and nail to keep schools vulnerable:
ReplyDelete1. It's very difficult to stand on the bodies of dead children to advance your love of tyranny and your hate for an armed citizenry when there are none.
2. When more and more armed school staff save kids by killing bad people it will get really tough to continue to religiously bury the "good guy with a gun" stories and all the "data" proving that it's a myth will be exposed as the BS that the rest of us already know it to be.
