How Not to Deal With a Burglar

He was going to speak harshly to the miscreant. It didn't go as planned. Police working to identify car burglar who shot Nashville man outside his home

Following an investigation, police say the homeowner called 911 to report the suspect in his driveway, rummaging through his car. Then, the homeowner walked outside and told the burglar to leave — that’s when the burglar pulled a gun and fired twice.

The homeowner was shot in the leg, and the wound is described as non-life-threatening. He could have been shot in the chest or the head. Over what he has in the glove box of his car.

First, you should have nothing in your car that you cannot live without. It can be stolen, burst into flames, whatever. Second, you have insurance. Third, even if you don't have insurance, there is nothing in your car that is worth your life.
