Your Taxes At Work — UK's National Health Service Edition

The Woke has gone off the deep end. Mixed-race civil servant claims he was called racist by 'woke' Whitehall after NHS quango urged staff to attend unconscious bias training sessions over Zoom while Working From Home.

Say it again. A Brit of mixed-race heritage was called a racist because he dared to disagree with the Woke, and he wanted to actually do his job, and not attend idiotic seminars.

Andrew Scarborough was having trouble getting work done because of the deluge of emails about woke webinars.

When he queried the quango's 'political' messaging, he claims he was reprimanded and called a racist. He decided to speak out when [NHS Health Education England (HEE)], which gets £4billion of taxpayer cash each year to support NHS training and skills development, invited staff to a virtual 'white privilege' course to address 'unconscious bias' and 'white fragility'.

Actually getting work done seems to be a foreign concept to Progressives on both sides of The Pond.

When asked about his experience, he said that Britain "had made much progress in tackling racism." It was not received well.

He said unconscious-bias training was little more than a way 'to shame white people', adding: 'We work for the people of this country and the money we receive comes from them. I feel a responsibility to not waste money on something that is not going to make a difference to clinical outcomes.' Toby Young, of the Free Speech Union, said: 'It beggars belief that the NHS is wasting money on this snake oil.'

Virtue signalling is worth every penny to some people.
