Well, it was 2 to 0 anyway. SPD: Homeowner shoots suspect possibly trying to burglarize home
A couple noticed that people were trying to break into a garden shed. She called 911; he went to tell them to take a hike.
The man told police that he fired his weapon after one of the suspects came toward him carrying a handsaw.
When police arrived, they found a 53-year-old female suspect with a gunshot wound to her abdomen. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
A 59-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
A third person showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound, but police were not sure if he was involved the attempted burglary.
The investigation continues.
