And stupid does not belong to one political party, but runs rampant through most politicians of every party. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp keeps mentioning failed AIDS vaccine mandates. But there is no AIDS vaccine
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, a Republican, keeps mentioning the failed campaign to vaccinate Americans against the AIDS virus as an example of the pitfalls of healthcare mandates.
Except the AIDS vaccine doesn't exist. And there sure wasn't a failed campaign to mandate it.
I'm sure by now one of his staff sat him down, and explained that he's making fool of himself. But maybe not. Depends on the quality of his staff, I suppose. Though unless he is living under a rock he must have seen some of the coverage he's generating.
There are other examples of stupid of course, but this is an extreme example.
I do not believe it is an 'extreme' example of stupid but actually standard for today.
ReplyDeletebut there is history of Fauci pushing expensive treatments and the health department saying they would be putting out a vaccine:

It is hard to understand how a man who has been wrong about so much for so long is still in Washington. I guess it proves that people get the government they deserve.
DeleteHe is referring to AZT which Fauci pushed as a vaccine but, like COVID, was nothing of the sort. They both "cured" people by killing them. The Governor isn't stupid, he's just expressing himself poorly. Not uncommon with politicians.
ReplyDeleteI get that. I was around for the start of the aids crisis. So once you get confused that AZT was a vaccine and not a treatment.
DeleteAfter that you don't get a free pass, especially in politics.
