For You

So I have been trying to select my favorite song from Marko Hietala's solo album. I'm not sure this is the winner, but I do like it a lot.

This song is "For You" by Marko Hietala from his 2020 album Pyre of the Black Heart. That is the English version of the album Mustan sydämen rovio which came out in 2019.

      Marko Hietala added something special to everything he touched. I particularly like the duets he did both with Tarja when she was lead singer for Nightwish (e.g. "Phantom of the Opera") and with Charlotte Wessels of Delain.

      It was a sad day when he announced he was retiring from music.
