Kim Foxx and Her Soft-on-Crime Dogma Is to Blame

She doesn't see it as her job to prosecute criminals, but to turn them loose in the name of Social Justice. Which is not the regular kind of Justice. Mag Mile robbery crew took $43,000 in loot, seriously injured guard: police.

In addition to Saturday’s robbery, police believe the group was involved in similar robberies in the 900 block of North Rush Street on Aug. 15, and another pair of robberies the next day at a store in the 100 block of East Huron Street and at a business in the 900 block of North Michigan Avenue.[

That injured guard is 73 years old, and suffered a fractured skull. He remains in intensive care.

State's Attorney for Cook County, Kim Foxx, has decided that shoplifting is not a crime, or not one worth paying attention to unless each occurrence results in more than $1000 theft, and so of course, Chicago has seen more of shoplifting.

If you make something cheaper, you will see more of it.
