He was suffering a "mental health issue" and his family called 911, but he left before police arrived. Fifteen minutes or so later, and half a mile away, there was another 911 call.

According to the sheriff's office, the homeowner called 911 as Pischer was attempting to break into his home and shot and killed him in self-defense.

It is a tragedy that Mr. Pischer was killed, but he was a threat to that homeowner, and the homeowner defended himself from someone breaking in.

Self-defense is human-right.
