An off-duty Chicago police officer shot someone breaking into their home in Portage Park in the second police shooting early Wednesday on the Northwest Side.
Talk about a bone-headed move... But then if he wasn't stupid or lazy, he might not be a criminal.
The guy who got shot was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the face.
So will this start the next series of riots? Who can say?
