Street crime and murder. Drug deals, and theft. Timothy ‘Lil Tim’ Leeks, 22, Charged With Murdering Rapper King Von in Atlanta
Of course they wanted to blame cops. But there is security video.
What this incident highlights is the overlap between the hiphop culture and street crime.
The reason King Von moved to Atlanta was because he was wanted by police, and also hunted by gang rivals, in his hometown of Chicago. Last year, King Von and his rap buddy were charged with robbery and attempted murder in Atlanta. The guy charged with killing King Von is also a criminal.
Systemic racism is of course to blame for everything. Or maybe not.
