Another song courtesy of WXRT's Saturday Morning Flashback. In the middle of August they were revisiting music from 1970. I don't like a lot of the music from that era, but WXRT (Chicago's Finest Rock) does tend to concentrate on the album music, and not the Top 40 stuff. Mostly.
This is "Nature's Way" by Spirit. It was on the 1970 album Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus.
Until I heard the first bar or two, I had forgotten the song, and forgotten Spirit. I only remembered the album's name and I was surprised I remembered that. Then it all came flooding back.

DeleteSometimes a song was so popular that it was on the radio so much it became annoying, but 30 or 40 years later they are (sometimes) not too bad.
