I guess he missed the lesson about "Honor thy father..." New bodycam video shows police shoot, kill suspect in father's murder after chase from Plano ends in Aurora near Rt. 34, Eola Road - ABC7 Chicago
Also the lessons about "Thou shalt not steal," and "Thou shalt not murder" seem to have been skipped. But then these lessons seem to be sadly lacking from 21st Century America in general.
Aurora, Illinois is roughly a 40 mile drive due west of downtown Chicago. How long it takes to make that drive will depend on whether or not it is morning or evening rush hour.
A man had called 911 from Plano after he noticed some of his personal guns were missing from his home, audio released Friday shows. A few moments later, the homeowner could be heard shouting and there's a loud bang. That's when police said 70-year-old Russell Novak was shot dead.
A Plano police officer got to the home as someone was backing a vehicle out of the garage. Another officer spotted the suspect and started to follow the vehicle.
Cops chased the vehicle, and when the driver got out of the car, he pointed a gun at officers. He did not survive.
So he stole guns from his 70-year-old father, then shot and killed him when discovered, ran from the cops, and then eventually committed suicide by cop. That is how it seems to me. (Point a gun at cops, and things will not end well for you.)
Did I miss anything? Well, I miss living in a sane society.
