I think this headline might be a tad bit of an exaggeration. Homeowner Shoots and Kills Female Burglar After She Kicks Down His Front Door in Alabama - NewsBreak
The homeowner had suffered a burglary, so he took the next day off work. Around noon, two burglars show up.
He was home on Wednesday, October 14, gun within reach. Around noon, Dustin Patrick Tucker and Kenya Pugh allegedly kicked down his front door.
I believe that it was Dustin Tucker who kicked down the door, not both of them, but that doesn't make as compelling a story.
The homeowner was armed, and he fired on the two.
Pugh was killed at the scene. Tucker ran.
It took cops 2 days to catch Tucker.
Alabama is a Castle Doctrine state, so there have been no charges against the homeowner.
Kenya Pugh being a woman does not change the law. It does challenge the image most people carry of who commits these crimes.
Self-defense is a human right.

In the EU, a homeowner would be convicted of premeditated murder.
ReplyDeleteAmericans don't give a Fuck what the EU thinks of self-defense
DeleteIn the EU, women get raped, people get killed, burglarized, and probably tortured because they are not allowed to defend themselves.
