Jaguar Tries to Dump Its Woke Image

Is it too little, too late?

Jaguar, now owned by Indian, automotive-conglomerate Tata Motors, abandoned their "all electric" push in January of 2026. This was after their woke rebrand, and their all electric pledge caused sales to slump 98%.

The the original concept car, that they introduced in pink, the Type 00, has now been introduced as the Type 01. They introduced it in silver, with the traditional Jaguar logo, and dumped the androgynous models for Florence Pugh, who plays the new Black Widow in the MCU.
