I first heard of Charlotte Wessels when she was lead singer for Delain. The guy who is the lead composer for that group had "creative differences" with the rest of the band, and they all quit. I believe that was in 2019, but I would have to look to be sure.
Since then Charlotte Wessels has embarked on a solo career. She has released a few albums, and recently announced a tour for 2026. I think she has a beautiful voice.
