MPD said a man trying to break into the apartment was shot by the tenant. The intruder was rushed to a hospital, where he died, police said.
No other details were released.
So since that isn't enough for a segment on the local TV news, they had to talk to a neighbor. While there was a bit of a "this freaked me out" response, there was also a "We have the right to defend ourselves and our property" response. Click thru; it's refreshing.
People are becoming tired of crime, and I believe more will stand up for themselves.
Self-defense is a human right, and it seems like it might be your legal right in Tennessee as well.
