But then I thought it was. Case file leads special prosecutor to find Lavaca shooting was self-defense
A special prosecutor has declined to file criminal charges in a July 10 shooting in Lavaca, ruling the shooter acted in self-defense.
The shooting happened during a confrontation between two former friends and fellow cabinet makers, according to the investigative case file obtained by 40/29 News through an Arkansas Freedom of Information Act request.
Lavaca, Arkansas is about a 15 mile drive east of Fort Smith.
Oh, and relatives of dead people don't like self-defense.
