Police say the victim was repeatedly punched, kicked and stomped while down before pulling a gun and shooting one suspect.
Bailey Geesey thought she could steal alcohol from a store. The clerk confronted her and told her to leave. So naturally Geesey launched an assault on the clerk.
Two additional suspects, Hernandez and the minor, then entered the store and joined the assault on the employee, who had fallen to the ground in a corner. The victim was repeatedly punched, kicked and stomped while down, police said.
The employee then drew a gun and shot at the suspects, shooting Hernandez. All three suspects then ran from the store and drove away.
The store employee suffered "serious but non-life-threatening injuries."
Police located the vehicle, and conducted a traffic stop.
Police stated that following the investigation, Geesey was booked into Ada County Jail. The juvenile was taken to Ada County Juvenile Detention Center, and police said they provided medical aid to Hernandez for a single gunshot wound before he was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was also later booked into Ada County Jail.
The county seat of Ada County, Idaho is Boise. Despite it being the largest city in the state, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess they do not have soft-on-crime prosecutors, like LA or Boston would have.
