In the world of insane, high-end watches, some of the most insane stuff is from Maximilian Büsser and Friends, or MB&F. The produce more sculpture than watches.
If you're interested in HM9, in the video below, you can have one for just over $245,000. Not in my budget, but I think they are fascinating.

I guess if you have kore money than God than that price is not a big deal but I just can not thnk of anything that would make a watch like that worth it, and yes I do like mechanical watches.
ReplyDeleteI almost bought an MB&F clock once. It was slightly more than I paid for my current SUV, and sanity reasserted itself. It was a beautiful thing, in the shape of a 1950s Sci-Fi rocket.
DeleteThe run a raffle every year, in which they produce a limited number of watches that are in the $3000 range. More or less. Probably more. They are not cool, like the horological machines are cool, but if I ever win that lotto, I will try to find 3 grand.
